Sleep Mentorship
Are you a Certified Behavioral Sleep Specialist looking for more hands-on experience?
A BCBA interested in learning more about the assessment and treatment of sleep challenges?
Did you attend the 2-day Pediatric Sleep Intervention Certificate Training and want additional support and guidance?
Are you a Sleep Specialist looking for more hands-on experience?

Then this mentorship is for you!

This mentorship is designed for professionals who have a basic understanding of the following:
-
Sleep architecture.
-
The signs and symptoms of a primary sleep disorder.
-
A basic understanding of circadian rhythms and homeostatic drive.
-
Critical variables to assess during a sleep assessment.
-
Evidence-based treatments for behavioral insomnia. *Please note that although cry-it-out/pure extinction is an evidence -based intervention, this is never suggested to families receiving services from Tina Hanson.
-
Mentees will be able to access on demand sleep trainings by ABT at no additional cost.

If you have a good understanding of the above but would like more hands-on experience putting what you've learned into practice, then consider signing up for a sleep mentorship. Join Tina Hanson in assessing sleep challenges during virtual appointments with real families looking for help with their children (6 months to 3 years).

*If you don't have an understanding of the above and would like to receive training on sleep assessment and treatment, I'm offering a sleep training and mentorship experience for $400 per person.
*BCBAs are eligible to earn 5 CEs for the mentorship experience ($125) and 8 CEs for the sleep training and mentorship experience ($400).

Benefits of a Sleep Mentorship
~Master the art of talking to caregivers from different backgrounds to develop sleep goals with the family based on their culture and family values.

~Learn the right questions to ask to help determine the factors contributing to the sleep challenge; including what questions to ask to determine if a referral for a medical assessment is needed.

~Gain expertise working with a diverse population. Because the children referred for sleep consultation have diverse needs and complex developmental profiles, you will gain expertise in working with a variety of populations.

~Learn how to inspire hesitant or reluctant caregivers to make positive changes to their child's sleep routine so the whole family can sleep!

*This mentorship is worth 5 CEs for BCBAs (1 Ethics-type and 4 learning-type).
